Art We All

We can learn a lot about ourselves though the art we choose. After all, we immerse our lives in art to uplift, inspire, amuse, soothe, or otherwise engage our minds and hearts. The walls of my apartment are adorned with art I’ve been pulled toward. Picasso, Klimt, Kandinsky, Kandinsky again…

The common threads? zest, color, structured fluidity, ambiguity, definition. Choice. I am drawn to (ha, get it?) art that challenges me to look closer, think creatively, and find order in the unordered.

Whether you are a Henry Moore, a Rembrandt, a Pollack, an Escher, a Picasso, an O’Keefe, or a Kinkade, you are art. I am a Kandinsky; what are you?
